Rothay Manor

Rothay Manor resides in a grand Grade II listed Regency building that was originally built in 1823 and is surrounded by attractive landscaped gardens. Its location makes it perfect for enjoying all the Lake District has to offer being just 15-minutes walk from the wonderful Lake Windermere and 10-minutes from the bustling Lakeland town of Ambleside.

The hotel features 16 bedrooms that have all been individually designed and decorated and three luxury suites. One suite and one room are designed in line with the National Accessible Scheme Mobility 2 guidelines. The hotel features a popular restaurant, has free Wi-Fi throughout and guests can use the facilities of the Ambleside Salutation Health Club and Spa for no charge.

Accommodation

All rooms at the Rothay Manor are single, double or twin and come in three types, 'Classic', 'Superior' and 'Suite'. All 16 rooms and three suites comes with a luxury bed, comfortable seating, a flat screen TV with FreeSat, DVD, hairdryer, clock radio, telephone and hospitality tray. All rooms are individually designed and decorated and offer guests a relaxing and comfortable stay.

Restaurant and Bar

The hotel’s restaurant is popular and has a well deserved reputation as serving some of the best food in the area. There are interesting and varied breakfast, lunch and dinner options and all dishes are cooked fresh on the premises by the experienced catering team.

There is a also a comfortable lounge bar area for guests to relax with a drink, whilst looking out over the hotel’s beautiful gardens.
