Bowness Bay Brewing: Easter Beer Festival
Bowness Bay Brewing is hosting a beer festival over Easter weekend from Friday the 29th to Sunday the 31st of March. There will be live music each day, along with a huge selection of craft beer and lager, pizza and Texas BBQ. The brewery is located in Kendal at Castle Mills in LA9 7DE and there is no entrance fee to attend the festival.

South Cumbria Music Festival
The South Cumbria Music Festival is taking place between Tuesday 19th and Saturday 23rd March, 2024 at Coronation Hall in Ulverston. The festival was formed in 1976 and is one of the most respected competitive music events in the UK.
Easter at Muncaster
Easter at Muncaster Castle will include events, such as Protect the Egg & the Big Egg Drop where you can make a box to try to protect an egg that will be dropped from the castle roof. There is also the Big Muncaster Egg Hunt where successful searchers will get an Easter treat, along with a spring Easter Trail where you can explore the gardens as a family.
March Events at the World of Beatrix Potter
Mother’s Day Tea
The World of Beatrix Potter is throwing a Mother’s Day tea on Sunday, 12 March, 2024. The ticket price includes a glass of fizz, a bunch of daffodils and a gift for your mum. There is also a delicious afternoon tea with a story read by Beatrix Potter, along with a photo opportunity with Peter Rabbit. There are also bunny ears for children to colour in and the cost of admission to the attraction is included with the ticket.
Easter Egg Hunt
There is also an Easter Egg Hunt taking place at the world of Beatrix Potter on Sunday, 30th March from 10am-5.30pm. The egg hunt will take place around the attraction and, if you find them all, you’ll win a chocolate treat. The mini trail is free with the cost of entry.

Walby Farm Park puts on a fantastic Easter event and is also giving free entry to mothers this coming Mother’s Day!

Walby Farm Park is giving mums free entry when accompanied by paying children on the weekend of Mother’s Day on both Saturday 9 March and Sunday 10 March.
Easter Eggsstravaganza
Easter at Walby Farm Park offers an array of fantastic activities for children and their parents, including decorating your own chocolate egg, a giant Easter egg hunt, a hunt for a golden egg, baby lambs in the barn, along with all the usual fun and activities the farm has to offer.
Easter Fun at the Ravenglass Railway
The Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway will be offering Easter activities between the 29th of March and the 14th of April, including a “High Speed Easter Egg Hunt,” Build a Bear Workshops on selected days, as well as a number of other activities.
Gin Weekend at the Woolpack Inn
Gin fans, look no further! The Woolpack Inn is throwing a Gin Weekend from 22 to 24 March to include gin cocktails, afternoon G&Ts, gin tasting boards, as well as live music.
Easter at Brockhole
Brockhole always throws a fantastic Easter event for families with craft activities and an epic Easter egg hunt, including a hunt for a golden bunny. There are also a number of other activities available at the centre, as well as a selection of cafés to grab a bite to eat.
Enjoy a “Host of Golden Daffodils” (*Without Trampling or Picking Them*)
We list the Top Six Places to See the Daffodils This Spring where you can admire the golden daffodils that William Wordsworth so aptly described in his poetry. Be sure not to trample or pick them so that other admirers can enjoy them for as long as possible! The best time to see them is usually late February to early March.
Heron Corn Mill: The Good Friday Special
Heron Corn Mill in Milnthorpe is putting on an Easter egg hunt for kids on Friday 29 March from 11am to 2pm around the mill with chocolate prizes up for grabs. There will also be freshly baked hot cross buns for sale. The Easter egg hunt costs £2 per child.
