Eden Animal Rescue Dog Show

Eden Animal Rescue is putting on a dog show at Hutton-in-the-Forest with dog themed trade stalls and competitions for your canine friends. Best of all, the day will raise money for the Eden Animal Rescue charity, which helps rehome animals in the Penrith area.

Dalemain Harvest Fair

Dalemain Mansion is hosting an autumnal ‘Harvest Fair’, featuring a variety of apples, a medieval hall, kids trails, apple tours, and more. Additionally, herbs, honey, and apples, which are all grown at Dalemain, will feature prominently at the Great Barn Tearoom.

Wainwright Tribute on Haystacks

A Tribute on Haystacks is a walk that retraces the steps of Alfred Wainwright with archivist, Chris Butterfield, and BBC Wainwright TV series producer, Richard Else. The walk is 5-miles long and will take approximately 5-hours, starting from Honister Slate Mine Car Park. The event is strictly limited to 30 guests who should come prepared for all weathers and be suitably prepared. There will also be a talk later on at the Glaramara Hotel from 5-7pm. The cost is £50 per person and pre-booking is essential.

Taste Cockermouth

Taste Cockermouth is an epic food festival in the centre of Cockermouth with producers’ stalls, a market place street party, hot food and al fresco bars, cookery demos, live music, and more.
