Situated next to the beautiful Derwent Water, Keswick is an idyllic Lake District village filled with charm and is perfect if you want the quintessential Lake District holiday. The town centre itself features an iconic clock tower with shops and tea houses lining the high street. Attractions and events in Keswick are in the plenty with the Pencil Museum, the Theatre by the Lake, and a wide range of annual events happening throughout the year.
Accommodation in Keswick comes in at the higher end, but the location is unbeatable, as you are right in the thick of it all with access to great fell walks at your fingertips.
