Outdoor Pool

The main pool at Greystoke is 18-metres long, 6-metres wide, and is 1-metre deep at the shallow end and 2-metres deep at the deep end. It is heated via air pumps, with a temperate that hovers between 22 and 24C – though it can get warmer if the weather is exceptionally good. A lifeguard is available at all times. The pool has recently benefited from a Sport England grant, and as a result, it has been relined and the decking surrounding the pool has been replaced.

In addition to the main pool, there is a smaller toddler pool for paddling, and there is a water slide for children to enjoy. There are changing rooms with showers and baby changing facilities.

The pool is open between May and September, between 1pm and 6pm. However, as it is completely reliant on volunteers, it is worth contacting the pool ahead of your visit to confirm the opening hours. Prices cost just £3 for adults and £2 for children with no time limit. Regular users of the pool may be interested in a season ticket, costing £45. The pool can also be hired for £50 for one hour with a lifeguard included.

Other Features

There is a pool-side café, again run by volunteers, serving a range of hot and cold drinks and light bites. Around the pool there are various picnic tables and chairs for spectators.

The pool sits on the edge of a community playing field. There is a playground for children and a large sports pitch. There is a pub and shop in the village centre, which is just a short walk away.
