Premier Inn Kendal Central

The hotel is located on the western edge of Kendal, set back from one of the main roads out of the town towards Windermere, making it ideal for guests seeking budget accommodation that is close to the Lake District. Lake Windermere is approximately 20-minutes away by car. Alternatively, Kendal’s train station is less than a ten-minute walk from the hotel and trains run directly from here to the town of Windermere. Other nearby attractions include the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway and Grizedale Forest.

Accommodation

The Premier Inn proudly guarantees its customers a goodnight sleep with refunds provided for guests who don’t receive that. Rooms are fitted with king size beds with Hypnos mattresses providing a comfortable night of sleep. A choice of firm or soft pillows are also available. Rooms are also equipped with a desk, tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen televisions with digital Freeview channels, and free Wi-Fi that is limited to 1 GB per user per day.

An unlimited Wi-Fi is also available for an additional charge. For your comfort, rooms have air conditioning and blackout curtains. All rooms also have en-suite bathrooms with showers over baths and complimentary shower gel and shampoo. Family rooms are available that can sleep up to three children in two single beds and a travel cot.

Restaurants & Bars

Almost all Premier Inns have a separate restaurant attached to the hotel. At the Premier Inn Kendal Central, there is a Table Table restaurant, known as the Wakefield Arms. Guests of the hotel can enjoy breakfast in the Wakefield Arms for an additional charge of £8.99 for a cooked breakfast and £6.99 for a continental breakfast. Breakfast is served between 6.30am and 10.30am each morning. Kids eat free with adults paying for a full cooked breakfast.

The Wakefield Arms is then open from 11.30am until late with an extensive menu that includes light bites, salads, grill items, burgers, fish, classic main dishes and more. A meal deal that includes breakfast and an evening meal for hotel residents is also available.
