Washington Central Hotel

Situated in the town centre of the delightful Cumbrian coastal town of Workington, the Washington Central Hotel is a modern and well appointed 4 star hotel. Accommodation

Every one of the hotel’s 57 rooms is en-suite and furnished to a high standard. There are a mixture of single, twin, and double rooms. All rooms come with a full English breakfast, Freeview TV, modem points, a telephone, and tea and coffee making facilities. Executive standard rooms also come with fresh fruit, natural spring water, bathrobes, slippers, additional toiletries, and a small bottle of wine.

Restaurant and Bar

Guests at the Washington Central Hotel can feast at the wonderful Central Bistro and Bar. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner, it offers food of a high quality in modern and contemporary surroundings. All of the food produced is made with hand picked locally sourced ingredients where possible and diners have the choice of a wide variety of dishes throughout the day and evening.

For more special occasions there is the Clock Tower Restaurant. Catering for just eight guests at a time, it offers food of the very highest quality all served whilst guests gaze out across the surrounding landscape towards the Isle of Man to the west and the Lake District fells to the East.

The hotel also features a popular coffee shop serving a variety of drinks and snacks.

Thanks to the excellent facilities on offer at the hotel, it is a popular destination for a whole host of weddings and civil ceremonies. It has a number of suites to suite weddings of various sizes and a professional team on-hand to ensure your big day goes seamlessly.

The hotel is a popular conference and business venue and has several suites that can be hired either individually or combined and can host up to 300 guests. It has all of the modern business facilities and equipment you would expect and there are various catering and accommodation packages available.

The hotel is host to the fantastic Caesar’s Pool and Leisure Club. This consists of a fully equipped gymnasium and fitness suite, a large indoor swimming pool, a hot tub, a steam room, and a sauna.
