Beaumont House

An imposing beautiful Victorian Lakeland house, Beaumont House is a traditional Lake District guest house that offers guests outstanding accommodation with that extra special touch of class. Refurbished to tell its history yet with a subtle modern edge, the hotel retains many of its original features and is complete with all the modern comforts needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Situated in the picturesque Windermere town, it is a great location to explore the South Lakeland area and wider Lake District.

Beaumont House has a total of nine rooms all of which are tastefully decorated with some rooms featuring fabulous four-poster beds. Guests can also enjoy the light and airy dining room where traditional breakfasts are served, as well as a comfortable lounge with its well-stocked ‘Honesty Bar’.

 Accommodation

Beaumont House has nine rooms, all of which are designed and furnished to a high standard. Four of these are on the ground floor and five on the first floor. There are a mixture of double and twin rooms and there are also five four-poster rooms for those guests that want a room with that little bit extra. All rooms have a TV, DVD and radio alarm clock, as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Two of the four-poster rooms are also fitted with whirlpool baths.

Restaurant and Bar

As a traditional Lakeland B&B, Beaumont House only serves breakfast. This is served in a lovely downstairs dining room where guests can choose from a range of options, such as a full English breakfast and a range of continental choices. All of the food served at Beaumont House is made with the finest local produce where possible. Vegetarians are well-catered for and those with special dietary requirements are, as well.

Beaumont House is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion with your loved one. The hotel has a number of packages for special romantic weekends away. This can include spa treatments from local providers, romantic meals at Lakeland restaurants or even simply getting out into the beautiful countryside. Packages are flexible and guests can order champagne and flowers in their room and other ideas and requests can be catered for too.
