Rickerby Grange

The Rickerby Grange Hotel is a classic Cumbrian Country House Hotel tucked away down a pretty private lane in the picturesque village of Portinscale. The village sits on the northwestern tip of the beautiful Derwentwater, one of the most attractive places in the National Park. The village has some excellent boating facilities and is within easy walking distance of the popular Lakeland town of Keswick.

The hotel is family owned with 10 pleasantly furnished rooms nine of which are en-suite and all guests are guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome.

Accommodation

The hotel has a total of ten bedrooms, nine of which are en-suite with a choice of shower or bath. All rooms are tastefully furnished, centrally heated and feature a TV, telephone and hospitality tray. For guests who may struggle with stairs, one room is located on the ground floor.

Restaurant and Bar

The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant or bar but there is a pleasantly decorated dining area where all guests can enjoy a fantastic breakfast. As well as continental, vegetarian, and gluten free options, there is their famous full English breakfast that utilises fantastic local ingredients, such as Mr. Fletts' hand-made Cumberland sausage and free range eggs. There is a good selection of dining options in the village and nearby Keswick to suit all tastes.
