Riverside Hotel Kendal

Kendal’s Riverside Hotel is a converted 18th century tannery on the banks of the beautiful River Kent. The accommodation at the Riverside Hotel is of a particularly high standard. There are a total of 58 en-suite rooms – 51 of these being designated pet friendly. All rooms are spacious and for those with the need for more space, there are two suites available and adjoining rooms can be arranged for family groups. There are double, family, twin, and single options and all rooms feature free Wi-Fi, a Freeview TV, a hairdryer, ironing facilities, a direct-dial-telephone, and a hospitality tray that has a range of drinks and biscuits.

Restaurant and Bar

Guests can choose whether to dine at the fine dining Riverview Restaurant or the more relaxed Tannery Bistro and Bar. Wherever guests choose, they can be assured the food is of the highest quality, made with locally sourced produce where available. Much of this comes from the hotel’s own kitchen-garden that has an abundant supply of fruit, vegetables, and herbs. There is a good range of drinks on offer and children are well catered for too with their own dedicated menu.
