Grange Boutique Hotel

Situated in a beautiful Victorian building in the attractive town of Grange-over-Sands, the Grange Boutique Hotel (formerly known as the Lymehurst Hotel) is a popular choice for those wanting a base to explore the awe-inspiring Lake District and the stunning Morecambe Bay. Thanks to Grange-over-Sands’ sheltered coastal position, it enjoys a gentle microclimate and is close to all the town’s shops, cafes, and pubs.

The hotel is small and intimate and retains many of its original Victorian features. The new owners have gone to great lengths to refurbish this hotel in order to restore it to its former glory. The beautifully styled interiors strike a balance between Victorian elegance and modern country charm, with vibrant floral décor.

Accommodation

The accommodation at the Grange Boutique has been fully refurbished and the range of rooms has been extended to include a collection of luxury suites. Rooms have been individually styled with designer wallpaper and furnishings. Standard single, twin, and double rooms are available offering comfortable accommodation with en-suite facilities, a television, under-floor heating, free Wi-Fi, and a hospitality tray that includes biscuits.

Superior King rooms are now available including one Deluxe King Room that benefits from its own spa bath as a well as a separate walk-in shower. These rooms offer more space and Hypnos mattresses. In addition, the hotel now offers a collection of suites / apartments, each one oozing with designer charm and sophistication. Choose the “Lovers Suite” with its handmade French bed and spa bath, the “Butterfly Suite” that comes complete with a four poster bed, farmhouse style kitchen, sauna, and spa bath, or the “Lilac Cottage” with super king size bed, wood burning effect gas fire, and double spa bath. All of these suites include luxury amenities such as fluffy bathrobes, duck down duvets, and smart televisions. The Lilac Cottage can also be connected to a King Room via a private corridor to create a two bedroom apartment that is ideal for families.

Restaurant and Bar

The Grange Boutique is currently only serving breakfast in its dining room, though restoration works are still ongoing and this may change in the future. A full cooked breakfast is available that includes sausage, bacon, and black pudding supplied by the award winning Cumbrian butcher, Higginsons. A continental style breakfast is also available, along with egg-based dishes. Breakfast can be served in the guestrooms if desired.
