Woodlands Guest House

Superbly located on the leafy avenue that connects the town of Windermere with its sister, Bowness-On-Windermere, Woodlands Guest House is a luxury bed and breakfast style accommodation that oozes with sophistication. The guest house’s decadent rooms are simply perfect for a romantic break away, and whilst family rooms are available, Woodlands does not accept children under five, making this accommodation best suited for couples.
The accommodation lies half way between the town centres of Windermere and Bowness-On-Windermere, with both being within easy walking distance. Bowness Pier for the Windermere Lake Cruises is a 20-minute walk from Woodlands and cruises from here will take you to various towns and attractions around the lake, including Ambleside, Lakeside (for the Lakes Aquarium and the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway), Sawrey (for Beatrix Potter’s Hill Top), and Wray Castle.
