Cedar Manor is situated in the beautiful village of Windermere making it convenient for Ambleside, Grasmere, Bowness and the lake itself. The hotel is open all year round and has numerous special events throughout the year for guests to enjoy.

The hotel has ten rooms of an exceptionally high standard and is the proud winner of numerous awards, including Considerate Hoteliers Small Hotel of the Year and numerous Visit England Awards for Excellence.

Accommodation

All 10 of the rooms at the Cedar Manor are individually designed and furnished and are named after familiar Lake District locations. All furniture in the rooms has been designed and made by a Windermere based company Lakeland Fells Furniture and is impeccably hand crafted.

All of the rooms are doubles and each includes as standard Egyptian cotton linen, a flat screen TV with FreeSat, free Wi-Fi, thermostatically controlled radiators, and tea and coffee making facilities. Some of them also come complete with a hot tub.

Cedar Manor is a fantastic venue for small weddings and other private parties. The hotel is happy to help organise everything for you to ensure your big day is a success and can advise you on all aspects of your wedding. The hotel can be hired on an exclusive basis to ensure your wedding or civil ceremony has that extra special personal feel.
