Lodore Falls Hotel Outside

The Lodore Falls are so spectacular, that Romantic poet, Robert Southey, once wrote an extraordinary poem that beautifully captured the roaring sound of the waterfalls in words. It helped to popularise this small area of the Lake District amongst his Victorian peers. The hotel that sits in front of the falls has been providing visitors with spectacular views of the cascade for over 200 years, and is one of the area’s more luxurious places to stay.

The hotels also features a brand new spa with a thermal suite, 18 additional luxury rooms, a new restaurant, and a Champagne and deli bar that opened in 2018.
