The Bridge Inn

The Bridge Inn Santon Bridge lies just outside the charming village of Holmrook on the edge of the Lake District National Park. Once a modest mail coach house, it is now an established country inn that serves as a fantastic base for exploring the surrounding fells, valleys, and lakes of the stunning Cumbrian countryside.

Accommodation

The accommodation at the Bridge Inn is made up of 16 comfortable en-suite bedrooms. These are a mix of single, double, twin, family, and super king-size rooms as well as a fabulous four-poster room. All rooms have 300-thread count deluxe 100% cotton bed linen and include a TV, DVD player, free Wi-Fi, and tea and coffee making facilities.

Restaurant and Bar

The Bridge Inn has a well deserved reputation for offering good food. Breakfast is served in a dedicated breakfast room and guests can choose from a hearty English breakfast or a range of continental options, such as toast and cereal.

The bar and restaurant at the Bridge Inn is open seven days per week and serves food from 12pm till 9pm. Known as the Dalesman, it has a fine selection of real ales and in winter features a roaring log fire, which is perfect if you need to warm up after a blustery day. The food is all prepared fresh on the premises and made wherever possible with locally sourced produce.

The Bridge Inn makes a wonderful marriage or civil ceremony venue and its Eskdale Room is perfect for smaller ceremonies, whilst the function room is perfect for larger celebrations. The hotel can also assist you in the planning of your special day.
