Children can not be accommodated in this hotel and it’s clear that the proprietors are aiming at couples seeking a romantic break with extra touches, such as towels sculpted into swans and heart motifs throughout the rooms.

This quirky and romantic hotel is conveniently located halfway between Windermere and Bowness-On-Windermere, with both town centres being within easy walking distance. Nearby attractions include the Windermere Lakes Cruises and Brockhole, whilst nearby popular walking routes including Orrest Head and Gummers How.

Accommodation

There are just eight suites at the Windermere Boutique Hotel, all fabulously individual with modern and inviting décor and mood lighting that will make it hard to leave. As standard, all rooms include a seating area, en-suite bathroom with complimentary Molton Brown toiletries, flat screen television with Sky Movies and a blue ray player, free Wi-Fi, and a hospitality tray that includes biscuits. Some rooms have private outdoor spaces, and some are spread over two floors. Best of all, each room has spa facilities of some sort, varying from room to room:

• Sweetheart Suite – Along with an en-suite bathroom, this two floor room has a separate spa room with a hot tub and relaxation chairs. Outside there is a private patio with a hot tub and a swing.
• Je T’Adore Suite – Two floor suite with separate lounge that includes a bathroom with aqua massage bath for two people and private outdoor patio with a hot tub and a swing.
• Love Snug Suite – This suite has a bathroom with aqua massage tub, as well as a spa room with a sauna and relaxation chairs.
• Windermere Boutique Love Suite – This suite has a bathroom and a separate spa room with indoor hot tub, steam room, and relaxation chairs. It also has a separate cinema room with a large television and surround sound.
• Honey Suite – This suite has a bathroom and a separate spa room with spa bath and relaxation chairs. Outside, there is a private balcony and a separate patio area with a hot tub.
• Ti Amo Suite – This fabulous suite consists of a bedroom, cinema room, shower room, spa room with steam room, spa bath and relaxation chairs, and a patio with a hot tub.
• Sugar Suite – Consisting of a lounge, bedroom, bathroom, and a spa room with a hot tub and relaxation chairs.
• Tivoli Suite – This room has an open plan bedroom / lounge area, bathroom with a steam room, and a spa room with an air bath, hot tub, and relaxation chairs.

Restaurants & Bars

The indulgence continues at breakfast time at the Windermere Boutique with a buffet table in the dining room that includes Prosecco, fruit juices and smoothies, yogurts, fresh fruit, cereals, fruit loaf and more. Alternatively, a cooked breakfast is prepared to order with locally sourced bacon and sausage. For an additional charge, guests can opt to have breakfast in bed.

In the evenings between 7.30pm and 8.30pm, guests can dine in the hotel’s dining room with a two or three course set menu meal available. Advanced booking is essential. There is a small bar adjacent to the dining room.
