The Pheasant Inn (Keswick)
The Pheasant Inn is a simple, honest, Lakeland pub serving good home cooked food and real ale. The pub is located on the outskirts of Keswick, on one of the main roads heading out of the town towards the A66. As a result, it tends to pick up a fair amount of passing traffic, as well as being supported by core group of regulars. The pub is a short walk from Keswick’s Fitz Park, and is one of the nearest pubs to the start point for an ascent up Latrigg fell.

The Pheasant Inn is owned by Jennings Brewery which itself is owned by Marstons. The inn has five hand pumps, all serving Marstons Ale. The regular ales are supplied by Jennings which is based in Cockermouth, just 12 miles away. Guest ales may be sourced from Jennings or other Marstons producers.
There is a good choice of other drinks, including draught beers, wines, ciders, and spirits, as well as tea and coffee and other non-alcoholic drinks. The pub is known locally for offering very good value for money compared to other establishments closer to the town centre.
